You will play an important role in the safe and productive operation of a newly established gold processing plant, supporting the successful restart and growth of an exciting mining operation.
Working as part of the operations team, you will monitor plant performance, optimise production outcomes, and ensure all activities are completed safely and in line with operational procedures.This role will suit an experienced Process Operator who enjoys working in a hands-on processing environment.
The plant operates 24/7, and you will work an 8 days on, 6 days off and 7 nights on, 7 nights off continuous shift roster, with 5 weeks annual leave.
You will work across a modern processing facility with exposure to outdoor conditions, stairs, ladders, and a physically active operating environment.Key ResponsibilitiesSafely operate and monitor fixed plant processing equipmentComplete inspections and identify operational issues or improvementsMonitor plant performance and adjust processes to optimise productionPerform plant start-up, shutdown, and isolation proceduresSupport troubleshooting and minor maintenance activitiesComplete operational reports, log sheets, and shift handoversMaintain housekeeping standards across the processing plantWork collaboratively with maintenance and operations teamsFollow all safety, environmental, and operational proceduresAbout youPrevious experience operating within a fixed gold processing plantExperience across crushing, grinding, CIL/CIP,
