This is a hands-on role whereyou'lldesign, develop, test,commissionand support automation solutions for world-class food processing equipment, working with customers across Australia and internationally.As part of the globalHochlandGroup, NATEC Australia combines the agility of a local manufacturing business with the stability,expertiseand opportunities of an internationally recognised organisation.About the RoleReporting to the Head of Project Management, you will play a key role in delivering automation and control solutions throughout the full project lifecycle, from design and development through to installation,commissioningand ongoing customer support.Key responsibilities include:Designing and developing industrial control systems for automated food processing machineryProgramming andmodifyingPLC, HMI,SCADAand motion control systemsConducting Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT)Performing commissioning activities at customer sitesTroubleshooting and resolving electrical, control and automation issuesProviding technical support,upgradesand optimisation solutions for existing equipmentCollaborating with customers,



project teams,suppliersand service teams to ensure successful project deliveryAbout YouTo be successful in this role, you will bring:A degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics,Automationor a related disciplineExperience designing,programmingand commissioning industrial automation and control systemsStrong knowledge of PLC, HMI,SCADAand motion control platformsProven experience conducting FAT,SATand commissioning activitiesExcellent fault-finding and diagnostic skills across industrial machinery and control systemsThe ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, technicaldrawingsand engineering documentationA strong understanding of machinery safety, electricalstandardsand WHS requirementsExcellent communication,problem-solvingand stakeholder management skills.Why Join NATEC Australia?
