Mechanical/Mechatronic Design Engineer -StartupResponsibilities, Duties and ExpectationsContribute to the generation of new product design specifications and mechanical requirements.Develop and execute design verification testing, plans and reports (in-house), followed by managing 3rd party verification testing.Develop and implement ideas utilising Solidworks/CAD and produce manufacturable part and drawing packages.Utilise advanced analysis software and techniques to validate and affirm design decisions throughout the product development lifecycle.Interpret and apply relevant standards to ensure compliance and quality assurance.Liaise with designers, electronics engineers and the NPI and manufacturing team to improve product quality, reliability, and manufacturability.Qualifications, Experience and SkillsBachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics,



similar technical field of study or equivalent practical experience.Minimum 4 years experience in a design/engineering role in a product design environment.Proficiency in software tools - SolidWorks or AutoCADCompetency in conducting: FEA, Thermal Analysis, Structural Analysis, Vibration Analysis.Knowledge in design for production processes including machining, sheet metal and injection moulding.A high level of competency in 3D CAD modelling and creating 2D drawings and specifications.Highly developed interpersonal, communication and collaboration skills.A high level of creativity and able to demonstrate solid problem-solving skills.The ability to work in a fast-paced environment, deliver and meet deadlines.Keep yourself up to date with the latest technologies, tools and methods to be effective in your role.
