This is a full-time role that plays a key part in supporting the smooth day-to-day operations of our accounting practice.
Your ability to learn quickly, build rapport, and foster strong working relationships will be a very significant part for your success in this role.The RoleKey ResponsibilitiesIn this role,
you will initially work under the guidance of experienced administrators as you develop your skills and knowledge.
Your responsibilities will include:Reception & Office SupportGreet clients and visitors and create a positive first impressionAnswer and direct phone calls and manage general email enquiriesManage meeting rooms, and ensure that the meeting rooms and kitchen areas are tidy and well-stockedCollect and distribute mail, coordinate office banking, and manage office supply ordersAdministrative SupportAssist with general filing, scanning, printing, and archiving of documentsMaintain and update client records and databasesSupport the on-boarding of new clients and preparation of engagement documentationSupport lodgement of compliance documentsProvide general administrative support to accountants and partners as neededMaintain office supplies and assist with general office coordinationWhat You BringYou'll bring enthusiasm, a willingness to learn, and a strong sense of organisation.
Confident with technology and comfortable engaging with people, you'll enjoy supporting a busy professional team across administration and reception duties.
Specifically, you will bring:A professional, friendly, and approachable mannerStrong communication skills (verbal and written)Great organisational skills and attention to detailConfidence using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)A can-do attitude and willingness to learnCompletion, or close to completing qualifications in business administration preferred but not essential for the roleNo prior experience required as training will be provided.
