Over many decades, they have earned an outstanding reputation for innovation and the introduction of leading-edge technology to meet the exacting demands of their specialised packaging market.The RoleAn excellent chance has become available for an experienced Day/ Afternoon Shift and Night Shift, Trade Qualified Production Machine Operator working in FMCG manufacturing environment.Reporting to the Manufacturing Manager you will be trained in setting, operating, adjusting and maintaining machines, ensuring production levels meets scheduled requirements and product quality conforms to established specifications.The Successful CandidateTo be considered for this position, not only will you love working within a team environment and are flexible in your duties, we also require:Work effectively within a fast paced, manufacturing environmentSound numeracy and literacy skills in understanding both verbal and written instructions,



and to update production data using the Windows-based operating systemOrganisational skills with proven ability to apply problem solving and decision-making skills within a production environmentWillingness to learn new processes & procedures; a strong mechanical aptitude is a distinct advantageProven ability to work both co-operatively and independently in a team environment with the potential to develop team leadership capabilitiesGood knowledge of occupational health and safety work practices and proven ability to operate and comply with hygiene and quality standards in a food manufacturing environmentTrade qualified Motor Mechanics or experienced Machine operators are encouraged to apply.Vision system experienceMust have a Fork-Lift LicenceDuties will include, although not limited to:Operate complex manufacturing equipment - High speed LineTroubleshooting, fault-finding, and preventative maintenance of equipmentBatch processing of critical production components and associated GMP documentationQuality control activities and completing required GMP documentationWorking to the production schedule to meet all production metricsOperate machine in accordance with job instructions and standard operating proceduresMonitor machine and process performance identifying product faults, adjusting machine settings in accordance with product and quality specificationsRecord production data such as product output and quality according to standard operating procedures
