Job Type: Contract position | Casual positionJob DescriptionPosition: Physiotherapist – Part time Aged careLocation: Melbourne - 2 days in Altona Meadows and 2 days in RichmondClient Demographic: Aged-care residents (predominantly older adults in residential/community aged-care settings)Experience Required: Minimum 2+ years preferredRole Overview: We're seeking a dedicated Physiotherapist who's excited about making a difference in the lives of older adults.In this role you'll deliver evidence-based physiotherapy interventions in aged-care settings, working to maintain and improve mobility, strength, balance and functional independence of clients.Key ResponsibilitiesAssess, plan and implement physiotherapy programs for older adults in residential/community aged-careCollaborate with interdisciplinary teams including nursing,
occupational therapy and podiatryMonitor client progress and adapt interventions accordinglyPromote best-practice aged-care therapy and support accreditation requirementsParticipate in continuous professional development and training sessionsWhat We're Looking ForBachelor's degree in Physiotherapy (or equivalent) and current General AHPRA registrationAt least 2 years' relevant experience—preferably in aged care or allied health settingsHold Full working rights VisaExcellent communication skills, strong interpersonal aptitude and a genuine interest in elderly wellbeingWillingness to work 2 days in a week on the above mentioned locations, and uphold high standards of therapy service deliveryWhy This Role is Outstanding for Your Candidate: Stable full-time Monday to Friday schedule with no weekend or shift workCompetitive hourly rate with super & benefit allowanceA structured support environment: senior clinicians and field management onboard to guide and developA meaningful role working with older adults where the impact of therapy is clear and measurable
