The Role
We are currently seeking a Mechanical Engineer to support the successful delivery of projects across the mining and resources sector.
Working closely with Project Managers, Construction Teams, Clients, and Contractors, you will contribute to project planning, execution, procurement, quality assurance, and stakeholder engagement while ensuring compliance with engineering standards and safety requirements.
This role is ideal for an engineer seeking to build their experience in project delivery, site-based engineering, and mechanical systems within a dynamic and growing organisation.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in ensuring compliance with project-specific requirements, Australian Standards, and relevant industry codes.Support project control activities including scheduling, forecasting, reporting, and progress tracking.Undertake procurement, inspection, and expediting activities for project materials and equipment.Assist in managing subcontractor quotations, scopes,
and invoicing processes.Support the Project Manager in maintaining project quality management systems and achieving quality objectives.Assist in the preparation and review of contract scopes of work and tender documentation.Perform assigned project engineering and site engineering activities with a strong focus on safety and operational excellence.
About You
Eligible to work in Australia.Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering or equivalent recognised qualification.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.Experience building and maintaining positive relationships with clients, contractors, suppliers, and colleagues.Strong technical aptitude with well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills.Sound organisational and time management skills.Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.Demonstrated integrity, accountability, and a solid work ethic.Experience in mining, resources, construction, or heavy industry environments will be highly regarded.
