About the role:
This full-time newly created position is responsible for fitting, assembling, testing and preparing valves, actuators, controls and supporting products in line with work instructions, quality requirements and safety procedures.
We are looking for someone with hands-on valve experience who can confidently work with industrial valve products and associated equipment.
Assemble, refurbish, test and certify valves, actuators and associated pneumatic and electrical operators and controllers.
Read and interpret basic drawings, diagrams, bills of materials and written instructions to complete assembly work accurately.
Carry out fault finding, quality checks, pressure testing, calibration and installation of components to ensure products meet required standards.
Support warehouse activities, including picking and packing orders, receiving and dispatching goods, loading and unloading trucks, and maintaining accurate stock locations.
Use tools, lifting equipment and forklifts safely while maintaining a clean, organised and hazard-free work area.
About you:
You will be hands-on, safety-focused and comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing or production environment.
You take pride in producing quality work,



enjoy working as part of a team and can manage your tasks with minimal supervision.
Proven hands-on experience fitting, assembling, refurbishing or testing industrial valves in a production, service or workshop environment.
Technical or trade background preferred, with experience using manual hand tools, battery-powered tooling or machinery for assembly work.
Experience working in a warehouse environment, including pick and pack, assembly, receiving and dispatch activities.
Current forklift licence, valid car driver's licence and the ability to read, write and communicate in English.
Ability to read and understand technical drawings, follow safety procedures and contribute positively within a team environment.
Working knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics.
Desirable:
Trade qualifications in mechanical fitting or instrument technician discipline.
Connect/disconnect restricted electrical licence.
Ability to read electrical schematics.
Experience with high reach forklifts.
