Located southwest of Townsville, the Pajingo mine is around 50km from Charters Towers and currently employs approximately 250 people to run the underground mining, and ore processing operations.We are seeking an experienced Mine Engineer on an 8/6 or 12/9 roster, residential in Charters Towers, DIDO or FIFO for the right candidate.
This hands‐on role is ideal for a skilled mining engineer with underground drill & blast experience and the ability to mentor and guide others.About the RoleAs a Mine Engineer, you will play a hands‐on role in the planning and execution of underground mining activities.




Key responsibilities include:Drill and blast design and implementationExplosives management, ordering, and stocktakePreparation of backfill and weekly mine plansData entry, reporting, and analysis (daily/weekly/monthly)Supporting Supervisors and underground operationsConducting inspections of underground workingsRegular engagement with stakeholders to review and improve mine plansWhat You'll BringDegree in Mining Engineering (or equivalent)1-7 years' underground production engineering experienceProficiency with Deswik and Microsoft Office suiteStrong planning, problem‐solving, and communication skillsSound understanding of drill & blast design.Why Join Us?
