The opportunity
As the Team Leader Waste and Cleansing Services, you will leada team of supervisors and operational staff responsible forkeeping Hobsons Bay clean, safe and well maintained.
This roleoversees waste collection, public amenity cleansing, beach andlitter services, operational planning, contractor managementand customer service outcomes, while fostering a solid safetyculture and driving continuous service improvement.
What you'lldo
Leadand develop supervisors and operational teams todeliver high quality services.Coordinate waste, cleansing and public amenityoperations across the municipality.Ensureworkplace health, safety, compliance and riskmanagement requirements are met.Planand manage operational programs, resources, fleet andcontractors.Respondto customer enquiries, complaints and service requestswhile driving continuous improvement.
What you need to succeed
Relevant qualifications in leadership, management,waste management, environmental services or a relatedfield, or equivalent experience.Experience leading multidisciplinary operational teamsin waste, cleansing, infrastructure or local governmentenvironments.Provenability to manage supervisors, contractors and serviceproviders.Strongstakeholder engagement, customer service andcommunication skills.Demonstrated knowledge of workplace health and safety,risk management and compliance practices.

Pre-Employment Requirements
Progressed candidates will be required to complete a NationalPolice Record Check, a Pre-Employment Medical Check, Qualificationcheck & a Working With Children Check (WWCC).
Candidates must also holda valid Victorian Driver's License and acurrent Truck License, Light Rigid(LR)
Applicants must be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident orhold a valid work permit or visa with full unrestricted workingrights.
