ROLE OVERVIEW

You will play a key role within a supportive team in ensuring high levels of patient care are provided to women and their families.

Your responsibilities will include:
Delivering evidence-based midwifery care;
Working collaboratively within the multi-disciplinary team;
Delivering a high standard of customer service;
Ensuring patient and staff safety.

REQUIREMENTS
Current registration with AHPRA;
Clinical skills and motivation to ensure excellence in patient care and customer service;
At least 1 year of recent Midwifery experience;
A commitment to safe practice and quality patient care;
Understanding of the National Safety and Quality Health Service standards;
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;




The ability to work both independently and within a team structure;
The ability to act in a skilled manner at all times.

REMUNERATION

A salary ranging from $40.26 - $56.54 per hour.

ABOUT THE FACILITY

The hospital is located in Western Sydney and provides acute Medical, Surgical, Maternity, and Critical Care services. The Women's Health Unit comprises 4 delivery suites with K2 monitoring, a 5-bed Level 2 Special Care Nursery, and a 26-bed antenatal, postnatal, and gynaecology ward. The highly skilled midwifery and obstetrics team works closely with parents to ensure the best start in life for their babies.
