As the business continues to experience significant growth and expand its product portfolio, Baxter is seeking an experienced NPI Project Manager to join the Commercial team on a 15-month fixed-term contract.
This is a high-impact role that will see you manage the introduction of new products from concept through to commercial manufacture, partnering with leading pharmaceutical, health and personal care brands.
Reporting to the NPI Manager, you will play a pivotal role in coordinating cross-functional teams across Product Development, Quality, Regulatory, Operations, Engineering, Procurement and Supply Chain to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope and to the highest quality standards.

The Role
This is a genuine end-to-end project management position where you will take ownership of multiple New Product Introduction (NPI) projects simultaneously.
Acting as the central point of coordination, you will work closely with internal stakeholders, customers and suppliers to ensure new products move seamlessly from concept through to commercial manufacture.
You will partner with teams across Product Development, Operations, Engineering, Quality, Regulatory and Supply Chain to ensure projects are delivered efficiently, customer expectations are exceeded, and Baxter continues to deliver cutting-edge products to market.
Key Responsibilities
Project Management: Lead multiple New Product Introduction (NPI)



projects from concept through to commercial manufacture, ensuring timelines, budgets and deliverables are achieved.
Cross-Functional Leadership: Coordinate activities across Product Development, Operations, Engineering, Quality, Regulatory, Procurement and Supply Chain to successfully deliver new product launches.
Customer Engagement: Build strong relationships with customers, managing project expectations and providing regular updates throughout the product development lifecycle.
Packaging & Artwork: Manage packaging specifications, artwork approvals, Bills of Materials (BOMs), packaging transitions and product change activities.
Manufacturing Readiness: Work closely with Operations and Engineering to ensure equipment capability, packaging trials, filling instructions and production readiness are successfully completed.
Compliance: Manage change controls, deviations and documentation while ensuring compliance with TGA requirements, including TGO92.
Continuous Improvement: Support ongoing optimisation of Baxter's NPI process by identifying opportunities to improve project delivery and post-launch outcomes.

This opportunity would suit an experienced NPI Project Manager, Project Coordinator or Product Development professional who has successfully managed new product introductions within pharmaceutical, healthcare, personal care, cosmetics, FMCG or another highly regulated manufacturing environment.
To be successful, you will bring:
Project Management: Demonstrated experience managing New Product Introduction (NPI), New Product Development (NPD) or similar manufacturing projects.
Industry Experience: Experience within pharmaceutical, healthcare, FMCG, personal care, cosmetics or another highly regulated manufacturing environment.
Stakeholder Management: Strong communication skills with the ability to coordinate multiple internal teams, suppliers and customers while keeping projects on track.
Organisation: Exceptional planning and organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects in a quick-paced environment.
Problem Solving: A proactive and solutions-focused mindset with the ability to identify risks early and navigate challenges effectively.
Qualifications: Relevant tertiary qualifications in Business, Project Management, Science or a related discipline will be highly regarded.
