You'll get the chance to rewrite the rules, work on cutting-edge technology, and be part of a global team for positive change.About the Role:The Commissioning Electrician plays a key role in bringing GE Vernova Wind Turbine Generators (WTGs) into operation by executing electrical commissioning activities across wind projects throughout Australia.Rotation : 3:1 Monday to Saturday Full 7 days R&RLocation;: Wellington - Uungala Wind FarmPort: Newcastle12 month contract with view to extendAttractive daily rateFIFO to Dubbo or DIDO Flight/Accommodation/Vehicle + $75 per diemAustralian Electrical License - NSWTraining: GWO BST & ARTRole Responsibilities:Execute electrical commissioning activities in accordance with approved proceduresPerform electrical installation work associated with commissioningConduct electrical testing, verification and fault findingApply,



control and remove electrical and mechanical LOTO where authorizedExecute turbine energization and de energization under approved HV proceduresPerform electrical fault diagnosis and rectification on ELV, LV, and HV systemsLead commissioning activities at turbine level to ensure safety and quality completionEnsure commissioning documentation, checklists, and internal systems are updated accurately.Adhere to all EHS, electrical safety and site rulesAbout You:Australian Electrical License - NSW (mandatory)GWO BST & ART (mandatory -must be willing to complete training prior to start date, if you have the job offer)High Voltage Switching Operations (mandatory- must be willing to complete training prior to start date)Valid Driver's License (mandatory)Solid understanding of AC/DC electrical systemsAbility to read and interpret electrical schematics and single line diagramsProven experience in reporting and documentation managementNetwork and SCADA system experienceWillingness to travel and work on project sitesPhysically fit and capable of working at heightInstrumentation, automation, PLC, and rotating machinery experience (desired)Experience mentoring or leading commissioning teams (desired)Certificate III or IV Instrumentation (desired)If you are passionate about working for an organisation that imagines things others don't, builds things others can't, and delivers outcomes that make the world better, we would love to hear from you.For any questions regarding the position feel free to reach out to Natalie at ******
