This is a crucial leadership role where you drive process & system improvements while leading a high performing team.The ChallengeReporting to the Head of Payroll and communicating with a wide range of management and staff on a daily basis, your key responsibilities include the following:Managing a fortnightly payroll for approximately 1,000 employeesManaging,



training and supporting a small teamSupporting management with process improvement initiativesCalculating and maintaining leave balancesCompleting legislative requirements including PAYG, Superannuation and WorkCoverInterpreting and applying awards and contractsPreparing detailed payroll records, reports and documents for Finance and OperationsCompleting end of month/year processes and audit requirementsThe ExpertisePlease consider expressing interest in this position if you possess the following:5+ years of payroll management experienceleading a small-medium sized teamProcessing pay runs larger than 1,000+ staffExperience in a retail organisation is highly advantageousExcellent communication skills at all levels in the businessFull Australian working rights
