Positions are available across several regional Victorian health services, with both full-time and part-time permanent appointments.The Opportunity As a Consultant Psychiatrist, you will join established multidisciplinary Mental Health Services delivering specialist psychiatric care across inpatient, community and crisis settings.Depending on your interests and experience, your responsibilities may include:
Providing specialist psychiatric assessment, diagnosis and treatment
Leading multidisciplinary clinical teams
Supervising Registrars, Junior Medical Officers and medical students
Teaching through established university partnerships
Participating in service planning, clinical governance and quality improvement
Contributing to service development and Mental Health reform initiatives
Developing subspecialty interests and leadership responsibilities
