Bidgee Welding Pty Ltd is seeking a full-time Qualified Welder/Fabricator to join our team in Wagga Wagga, NSW. As a Qualified Welder/Fabricator, you will play a crucial role in the fabrication and assembly of high-quality metal products, contributing to the overall success of our company.

What you'll be doing
Perform welding and fabrication tasks to the highest standards, using a variety of welding techniques and equipment
Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications to ensure accurate fabrication
Operate various machinery and tools, such as grinders, saws, and measuring devices, to prepare and assemble metal components
Collaborate with the production team to identify and resolve any issues or challenges that may arise during the fabrication process
Maintain a clean and safe work workplace, following all relevant health and safety protocols
Assist with the training and mentoring of less experienced team members, sharing your knowledge and expertise

What we're looking for
A recognised qualification in welding and metal fabrication, with several years of hands-on experience in a similar role
Proficiency in a range of welding techniques,



including MIG, TIG, and stick welding
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications
Solid problem-solving and critical thinking skills to identify and resolve issues during the fabrication process
Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work
Ability to work collaboratively within a team and to mentor and train less experienced team members
A valid driver's licence and the ability to travel to job sites when required
