The Role:

We have an exciting prospect for Assistants in Nursing to join our permanent and casual pool at Mayo Private Hospital on our Medical / Surgical / Rehabilitation Ward. Reporting to our Nurse Unit Manager, you will work within a supportive, dynamic team of dedicated nurses and allied health professionals providing quality, evidence-based care.
Hold Certificate 3 in Health Services Assistant
Proven experience in assisting patients in matters of personal hygiene, toileting, pressure area care, feeding
Under the supervision of senior nursing team, perform, record and report general observations such as blood, pressure, heart rate, respiratory rate and temperature
Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a high-pressure environment
Effective communication and time management
Current NSW working with children check
National Police Check certificate – No older than 3 months on application
Experience in the Hospital setting
