From motorways and rail to hospitals and renewable energy assets, our teams build the essential infrastructure that connects communities and supports the country's long-term growth and resilience.About the OpportunityThis role oversees the development, implementation and maintenance of health and safety programs across ACCIONA's infrastructure projects nationally.
Reporting to the Regional Health & Safety Manager, you will drive compliance with WHS legislation, guide risk assessments, and manage safety audits and inspections.
You will partner closely with project teams to build a strong safety culture, oversee incident investigations, and shape policies that support consistent,
high-quality safety outcomes across the business.Key AccountabilitiesDevelop WHS/OHS policy aligned to business strategy and cultureRun safety audits and monitoring programs across projectsDraft Construction Safety Management Plans with key stakeholdersInvestigate incidents and identify root causeDrive strategic action to reduce TRIFR/LTIFRBuild a positive safety culture across teams and projectsReport safety performance and trends to senior managementRequired Skills and CompetenciesDegree in OHS, Environmental Science, Engineering or relatedDiploma or Advanced Diploma in Work Health and SafetyStrong knowledge of WHS legislation and regulationsExperience managing incident investigations and safety auditsCurrent driver's licence for travel between sitesWhat we offerAt ACCIONA, we offer a dynamic and challenging work environment where our employees can grow and develop their careers.
