ABOUT THE BUSINESSAustralian Management & Safety Training are a well-established reputable Mackay based business that has been involved in Emergency Response & Rescue for more than 20 years.ABOUT THE ROLEDue to increasing work contracts in Queensland we are seeking expressions of interest for ERT/Operators with a wheeled loader competency.As an ERT/Operator you will be working with the client team to provide day-to-day machine operations and be part of the site emergency response team and respond to emergencies when required.You will be a team player who demonstrate capability in all emergency situations and provide a timely and effective response.The role is for suitably qualified personnel with Certificate III in Emergency Response and Rescue as well and relevant operator skills.
This will be a 7 on, 7 off roster with 1 extra day every 6 weeks for ERT skills maintenance training.REQUIREMENTS FOR THE ROLEEssential:Certificate III in Emergency Response and Rescue (or equivalent)



including:Undertake confined space rescueUndertake vertical rescueConduct fire team operations (or equivalent)Undertake road crash rescueAdvanced first aidCurrent Coal Board MedicalCurrent Standard 11 Safety Skill SetCurrent RII machine Operator Ticket for Wheeled Loader Operations (or equivelent)Desirable:Collect specimens for drugs of abuse testing (or other D&A; testing certification)Current Provide advanced resuscitation and oxygen therapyBENEFITS AND PERKSAttractive remuneration offered to the right applicantsFIFO Brisbane/MackayAccommodation and meals provided by the clientSKILLS AND EXPERIENCEThis position is for suitably qualified emergency response personnel with a mine site operators' skill/qualification.
As these positions are coal mine based, the applicant will already have mine site rescue experience, a current Standard 11 and Coal Board Medical, however all applicants with relevant emergency response and operator experience will be considered.
