You will play a key role in supporting procurement activities for a mining operation entering an exciting phase of renewal and growth.
Based in Mount Morgan, Queensland, you will manage purchasing processes, develop procurement strategies, and support efficient supply chain operations that contribute to the ongoing success of the operation.Working Monday to Friday, with standard hours generally from 7:00am to 4:00pm and a shorter fifth day, you will enjoy a lifestyle-friendly roster that allows you to be home every night.
You will collaborate with internal teams and suppliers to ensure procurement activities are delivered safely, efficiently, and in line with organisational goals.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement procurement strategies aligned with business goalsConduct market research and assess supplier capabilities and offeringsNegotiate supplier contracts and agreements to achieve value outcomesManage supplier relationships and monitor contractual performanceCollaborate with teams to forecast purchasing and inventory requirementsMaintain accurate procurement records, reports, and documentationIdentify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining quality and complianceOperate within delegated authority requirements and procurement processesSupport a culture built on safety, respect, responsibility,
