As a House Coordinator, you'll lead a residential care home in Wallan guiding a team and supporting young people with complex needs through a therapeutic, trauma-informed approach.This is a unique leadership role where you're not just managing you're embedded in the home.
You'll work alongside your team on the floor while also leading operations, creating a safe, consistent, and supportive environment where young people can thrive.About the RoleLead a residential care home supporting 4 young people and a team of 8 youth workersEmbed a therapeutic, trauma-informed approach in all aspects of careBalance hands-on youth work with leadership, supervision, and operational oversightOversee care planning, documentation, and case management requirementsRun care team meetings and provide regular staff supervision and team leadershipManage site operations including compliance, reporting, petty cash, and maintenanceWork collaboratively with internal teams and external stakeholders such as DFFHMake Your MarkYou're an experienced residential care leader who can confidently run a house end-to-endYou bring strong knowledge of trauma, attachment, and therapeutic careYou lead from the front comfortable being on shift while guiding your teamYou stay calm, consistent, and decisive in the face of complex and challenging behavioursYou know how to build and strengthen team culture through support, structure, and clarityYou're resilient, independent, and able to hold a space for both staff and young peopleYou bring experience from similar environments (residential care, youth justice or child protection)You genuinely care about your team,
