We are seeking an experienced and motivated Essential Safety Measures (ESM) Auditor to join our growing field team.
This is an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled professional with strong technical knowledge of building compliance, fire safety systems, and Essential Safety Measures auditing.In this role, you will conduct complex ESM inspections across residential, commercial, industrial, and government properties throughout Victoria, with occasional interstate travel.

and documentation within UptickCompleting monthly peer reviews and contributing constructive feedbackSupporting ongoing improvement of audit procedures and systemsClient & Team SupportProviding technical guidance and clarification to clientsLeading client meetings and assisting with client education and portal trainingSupporting the Maintenance Department and field technicians with technical expertiseMentoring and assisting junior auditorsBuilding strong client relationships and identifying opportunities for additional servicesAbout YouExtensive knowledge of:Building Act & Building RegulationsNational Construction Code (NCC/BCA Volume 1)Relevant Australian StandardsEssential Safety Measures / Fire Safety industry requirementsDiploma or advanced diploma of Building SurveyingStrong report writing and computer skillsExperience using field service or compliance management software (Uptick experience highly regarded)Excellent communication and organisational skillsAbility to work independently and manage competing prioritiesDesirableClient relationship management and customer service experienceExperience mentoring or training team membersThe CompanyWe are a well-established and growing compliance consultancy specialising in Essential Safety Measures, building compliance, and fire safety auditing services across Victoria and interstate.
