Urban Smile is looking for a confident Dental Assistant / Patient Coordinator to join our Brunswick and Hawthorn clinics in a senior, hands-on orthodontic role.This is not a standard chairside-only position.
You will be involved across the full patient journey, from consulting and treatment coordinating with the patient and our Oral Health Therapists through to chairside support, Dental Monitoring workflows, clinical ordering and helping keep the clinic running smoothly.About Urban SmileUrban Smile is a modern, specialist-led orthodontic clinic focused on making high-quality orthodontic care more accessible, convenient and personalised.Led by Specialist Orthodontists Dr Sarah Lawrence and Dr Igor Lavrin, who have over 25 years experience in Orthodontics, we're on a mission to deliver onfident smiles with top tier care and innovative treatment.About the roleThis is a 4-day-per-week role working across our Brunswick and Hawthorn locations.You will be responsible for:Dental assisting for orthodontic and aligner appointmentsProviding consultations and treatment coordinationHelping patients understand their treatment options and next stepsAsisiting Dental Monitoring workflows and patient communicationClinical ordering, stock management and clinic readinessTaking digital records and supporting treatment documentationSupporting appointment flow and delivering a outstanding patient experienceGeneral administartive duties and appointment schedulingTaking initiative and helping the clinic stay organised and on trackAbout youYou will be a great fit if you:Have experience as a Dental Assistant, ideally in orthodonticsEnjoy both clinical and patient-facing workAre confident communicating on on one with patientsAre organised, proactive and comfortable working with autonomyHave strong attention to detail and high clinical standardsAre confident using technology and open to learning new systemsCan work across both Brunswick and Hawthorn locationsBring a calm, positive and team-focused approachWhy join Urban Smile?
