Responsible for maintaining plant and equipment, in order to assist the Course Superintendent in implementing the Maintenance Program in an efficient and safe manner.General RequirementsDevelop and implement maintenance programs for plant and equipmentRoutine servicing of plant and equipmentDeal promptly and appropriately with effecting any repairs in the case of an emergencyEnsuring daily that equipment for use is operating effectivelyEnsure that plant and equipment complies with OH&S; regulations for safe operation, as well as the club's Environmental Management System.Key Performance Areas1.
COURSE MAINTENANCE & PLANNINGTo Assist the Superintendent in identifying the strategies and actions required to meet the Course Maintenance objectivesIn consultation with the Course Superintendent,



develop and maintain replacement programs for plant and equipmentReport likely or existing problems or faults that could influence priority of replacementAssist in establishing, promoting and enforcing Setting and Work Health & Safety practices in accordance with SuperintendentEnsure the cleanliness of the golf course equipment and maintenance facility2.
COURSE OPERATIONSTo continuously improve and maintain the course in the highest quality condition by:Maintaining knowledge of the mechanical, hydraulic and electrical components used on CoursePerforming tasks that are necessary to keep maintenance facility and equipment clean, organised and safe on a daily basis.Inspect all equipment and tools that are assigned to specific tasks and reports any deficiencies to the SuperintendentIn consultation with the Superintendent and OH&S; Officer, and in compliance with the club's Environmental Management System, maintain the workshop area in a safe, efficient and tidy manner
