Boilermakers & Fabrication Trades Wanted – Workshop Roles | Wacol QLD Our client is expanding their workshop team and are looking for experienced trade professionals who enjoy building, fabricating, and modifying heavy equipment in a modern workshop environment.
In this role, you'll be involved in the manufacture and preparation of a diverse range of machinery, from current equipment builds through to customer-specific modifications and upgrades.
You'll play an important part in ensuring machines are completed to the highest standards before delivery.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include: Fabrication and welding of componentsMachine assembly and fit-upInstallation of customer-specific options and accessoriesEquipment modifications and upgradesPre-delivery inspections and functional testingFault finding, commissioning, and quality checks You'll be working on a variety of equipment across mining, construction, and utility applications.

Location Wacol, Queensland Shift Options Monday to FridayDay Shift: 5:00am – 2:00pmAfternoon Shift: 2:00pm – 10:30pm About You To be successful, you'll ideally have: A recognised trade qualification in Boilermaking, Metal Fabrication, Engineering Fabrication, or a related disciplinePractical experience in welding, fabrication, and mechanical assemblyThe ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documentationA strong focus on safety, quality, and workmanshipGood problem-solving skills and attention to detailThe ability to work collaboratively within a workshop teamA proactive attitude and willingness to continue learning The following licences or tickets are desirable but not mandatory: Forklift LicenceElevated Work Platform (EWP)Working at HeightsDogging Licence
