Job Description
Sourcify Pty Ltd Key Responsibilities: Ensure equipment and production areas are clean, safe, and ready for daily baking operations.
Check the quality of ingredients and accurately weigh materials according to recipes.
Prepare, mix, knead, shape, and mould dough for a variety of bakery products.
Prepare pastry fillings and other bakery ingredients.
Monitor oven temperatures and baking times to achieve consistent product quality.
Coordinate the baking process, including loading, unloading, cooling, and handling finished products.
Glaze pastries and decorate cakes and baked goods as required.
Operate bakery machinery and equipment safely and efficiently.
Clean and maintain baking trays, tins, ovens, and other equipment.
Follow food safety, hygiene, and workplace health and safety standards at all times.
Requirements: AQF Certificate III including at least two years of on-the-job training, or AQF Certificate IV in Baking, Patisserie, or a related field.
1–2 years of experience in a commercial bakery, pastry kitchen, or similar food production environment.
Knowledge of bread,



pastry, and cake production techniques.
Ability to operate bakery equipment and machinery safely and efficiently.
Understanding of food safety, hygiene, and workplace health and safety requirements.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality baked goods.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced team workplace.
