!Join a local inner northern suburbs coffee roastery, that has stood the test of time and is looking to grow its team with a new Coffee Roaster & Production Assistant.
Working on the latest Petroncini equipment and within a supportive small team environment, this is the role for you if you love Coffee and want to produce high quality coffee that delights customers locally and internationally.You will be reporting to a very knowledgeable management team with a strong commitment to innovation, safety and sustainability.
You will be responsible for working line equipment, operating coffee roasting equipment, plant maintenance, cleaning, assisting with warehousing tasks and assisting with picking and packing, dispatching orders.Key Responsibilities:Operate and monitor production machineryPerform regular equipment checks and maintenance to ensure optimal performanceAdjust machine settings based on production requirements and specificationsMaintain accurate records of production data,



including quantities produced and machine performanceMonitor inventory levels of all productsCollaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve any machine malfunctions or production issuesAdhere to all safety and hygiene protocols to maintain a safe work environmentClean and sanitize equipment and work areas in compliance with health regulationsQuality control reporting of final product to Operations ManagerParticipate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production efficiency and qualityQualifications:Previous experience working in a coffee roastery or food and beverage manufacturing plantStrong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skillsForklift license would be advantageousAbility to work in a quick-paced environment and manage multiple tasksKnowledge of safety and quality standards in food productionStrong attention to detail and commitment to qualityPhysical Requirements:Must be fit and health, with ability to lift up to 15kg and perform physically demanding tasksStanding for long periods and performing repetitive tasksBenefits:Employee DiscountsInclusive and supportive small teamwork cultureNo Night or Weekend Shifts – working hours are 8am to 4pm Monday to FridaySome earlier starts may be required in summer due to heatSalary range of $60,000 - $70,000 depending on experience.We are open to people from all ages and backgrounds who are looking to work in a secure and long-standing family business.
