HQ Group's (Arbory Bar & Eatery, HER, Straight Up Cocktails) annual pop-up eatery and bar, AFLOAT, is back to grace Melbourne's CBD from September through to June.
Nestled on the North side of 'Birrarung', AFLOAT transforms each year with recent fit-out and theme, drawing inspiration from our favourite international holiday destinations.
Season 11's re-launch will feel like a familiar but new addition to Melbourne's summer social scene; with the venue's interior, design, food & beverage offering, music & entertainment program and a reminder that the good times are right around the corner.
We are currently recruiting for enthusiastic CDP's & Commis Chefs to join the team at AFLOAT Season 11.

About the role
You will work in a high-volume environment but not compromise on quality and preparation of ingredients
You will work across a rotating roster, lunch and dinner
You will have a sound understanding of workplace health and safety standards
You will have the opportunity to grow and develop your skills
You will be supported by senior management

An enthusiastic individual, trade qualified, who is motivated to learn
Creative individual who champions quality produce and simplicity




Chefs who have worked with varying cuisines from Euro to Japanese, including Sushi making experience
Resilience to perform in a high performing busy kitchen
Team player, who thrives in a collaborative and communicative workplace
Availability to work on a rotating roster including weekends and public holidays
