The flagship of Shane Delia, Maha has become one of Melbourne's defining dining rooms, where bold Middle Eastern flavour meets considered, detail driven service.
We are looking for full time waitstaff to join the floor team.
This is not just about carrying plates, it is about creating a dining experience that feels effortless, engaging and memorable from start to finish.
You will be part of a team that takes hospitality seriously, with a wine, cocktail and spirits offering to match.
Whether you are an experienced section waiter or an emerging junior sommelier, this is an opportunity to sharpen your craft in a fast paced, high performing setting.
You will work across Maha and our adjoining cocktail bar, Bar Jayda, two distinct but connected experiences grounded in quality, energy and attention to detail.

What we are looking for
You are confident, warm and switched on, someone who reads the room and brings the right energy to it.
Your work ethic matters just as much as your experience.




You will ideally have at least two years in a fast paced venue, with a strong guest focus and a hands on approach to service.
You are passionate about food, wine and hospitality and always looking to learn more.
You care about the details, take pride in your section and go the extra mile to make a guest's experience feel considered and seamless.
You work well within a team, communicate clearly and enjoy sharing knowledge with those around you.
You are organised, reliable and able to take direction while also backing yourself when needed.
Flexibility is key.
We trade seven days a week across lunch and dinner, including weekends and public holidays.
Valid Australian work rights or appropriate visa status is required for this position.
The venue
Maha is a 120 seat restaurant with two private dining rooms, alongside Bar Jayda, our neighbouring cocktail bar with its own premium dining space.
As part of Delia Group, Maha sits within a broader network of venues, retail and major event collaborations across Melbourne.
