The successful candidate will need to undertake and possess:Diagnosing electrical faults and carrying out electrical repairsTest and repair basic electrical circuitsRepair wiring harnesses and loomsTest, charge and replace batteries and jump start vehiclesInstall, Diagnose and repair spark ignition engine management systemsInstall,



Diagnose and repair vehicle energetic control systemsRemove and replace electrical units and assembliesDiagnose and repair automotive electrical systemsInstall vehicle lighting and wiring systemsInstall ancillary electronic systems and componentsChecking and testing wiring and parts in vehicles using portable instrumentsUsing readings to find faultsResearching faults, using manufacturers' circuit diagrams and manualsRepairing or replacing faulty partsRetesting the system to make sure everything is working correctly and safelyRoad tests of vehicles to test proper functionality of on board electronicsSkills and Abilities:At least 3 years' experience as an automotive electricianCertificate III in Automotive Electrical Technology or equivalentAbility to work in a team environmentSalary range is $70,000-$85,000pa commensurate with experience Fulltime Position available Applications open on 27th July **** and closes on 27th August **** Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted
