HR AdvisorPermanent | Brisbane Bayside | $115,000–$125,000 + superAn exciting opportunity is available for an experienced HR Advisor to join a well-established engineering and contracting business backed by one of the world's largest construction groups, employing more than 100,000 people globally.Based at the company's Cleveland office and reporting directly to the HR Manager, this is a true generalist position supporting employees and leaders across a diverse operational workforce.This role would suit a confident and approachable HR qualified who enjoys variety, building strong stakeholder relationships and providing practical advice in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.The RoleWorking closely with the HR Manager, leaders and employees, your responsibilities will include:Providing day-to-day HR advice across the complete employee lifecycleSupporting employee relations and workplace investigationsAdvising managers on performance management and disciplinary mattersCoordinating recruitment, onboarding and employee inductionsAssisting with remuneration reviews and workforce planningInterpreting employment legislation, awards, policies and proceduresSupporting learning, development and employee-engagement initiativesPreparing employment contracts, variations and HR correspondenceMaintaining accurate employee records and HR-system informationSupporting organisational change and continuous-improvement projectsMonitoring HR reporting,



compliance and people-related trendsAssisting with offboarding, exit interviews and succession planningAbout YouTo be successful, you will ideally offer:Previous experience as an HR Advisor or in a comparable generalist positionRelevant qualifications in Human Resources, Business or a related disciplineSound knowledge of Australian employment legislation and modern awardsExperience managing employee relations and performance mattersConfidence supporting both operational and corporate employeesStrong communication and stakeholder-management skillsA practical, solutions-focused and commercially aware approachHigh levels of discretion, professionalism and attention to detailThe ability to work autonomously while collaborating with a wider HR teamExperience within engineering, construction, infrastructure, utilities, manufacturing or another operational environment would be highly regarded.What's on OfferPermanent, full-time opportunitySalary of $115,000–$125,000 + superBroad generalist position with genuine varietyDirect support and mentoring from an experienced HR ManagerOpportunity to join an established local business with global backingExposure to a diverse workforce and complex HR mattersStable organisation with a long history of successful project deliveryThis is a fully office-based position and applicants must be comfortable working from the office five days per week.
