A OUTSTANDING OPPORTUNITY FOR A PRESS BRAKE OPERATOR - NIGHT SHIFT
A leading Australian sheet metal fabrication company known for delivering high-quality products and exceptional service looking for an experienced press operator in Thomastown.
We are currently seeking a two experienced Press Brake Operator to run our night shift operation.
This role is ideal for a skilled operator who can work independently and manage press brake production without supervision.
AVAILABLE SHIFT
Night shift hours are 11pm to 7am, Sunday night till Thursday night (5 nights per week)
30% shift loading applies
Pay rate will be dependent on experience.
Key Responsibilities
Set up and operate CNC press brakes
Program and operate Bystronic press brakes, when necessary, not mandatory
Select correct tooling and develop bend sequences
Read and interpret engineering drawings




Perform first-off and in-process quality checks
Maintain productivity and quality standards during night shift
Troubleshoot bending issues and adjust programs where required
Maintain a clean and safe workspace
Skills & Experience
Proven experience as a Press Brake Operator
Experience with Bystronic press brakes preferred
Ability to work independently without supervision
Strong sheet metal fabrication knowledge
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
High attention to detail and quality
Current Australian forklift licence
