Your responsibilities will include:Preparing month-end journals, balance sheet reconciliations and financial reports;Analysing financial results and ensuring the integrity of the general ledger;Completing indirect tax obligations including BAS, FBT and other statutory returns;Supporting internal and external audit processes;Identifying and implementing process improvement initiatives;Maintaining strong internal controls and ensuring compliance with accounting standards;Mentoring an Assistant Accountant and supporting their ongoing development; andAssisting with finance projects and broader business initiatives as required.About YouTo be successful in this role,



you'll ideally bring:CA or CPA qualification;Previous experience in a financial accounting role or External Audit;Strong month-end reporting and reconciliation experience;Knowledge of GST and indirect taxation;Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills;Advanced Excel skills and solid attention to detail;The ability to build relationships across the business and communicate with a range of stakeholders; andA proactive mindset with a genuine desire to improve processes.Sign-in details and accessibilityAt u&u; Recruitment Partners, we value diversity,equityand inclusion.
