We are seeking a strong Employee Relations Manager to join our Amazon Australia Operations team, to be based in either Sydney or Melbourne.
The central objective of Amazon's global operations employee relations team is to ensure our organisation's treatment of employees is fair, respectful, and consistent with our framework of core business values and objectives.
To support that objective, this position's responsibilities fall into proactive and reactive categories, focused on providing exceptional employee experience.
You will have deep subject matter knowledge, exceptional communication skills and the ability to work cross functionally on a wide range of employee relations initiatives.
This is a highly visible and wide-ranging role, working with senior operations leadership teams.
The successful candidate will influence decision making and direct the business into the future.
This role will involve interstate travel up to 30%.

or labor/employment lawExperience analyzing HR data and translating metrics into actionable workforce strategiesKnowledge of MS Excel, Word, SharePoint and PowerPointAn understanding of the Fair Work Act, Modern Awards and other State and Federal lawsPreferred QualificationsExperience as a strong leader who can prioritize well, communicate clearly and effectively influence across cross-functional teamsExperience in a fast paced, dynamic organizationExperience managing multiple projects and priorities across teams in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environmentHigh-quality judgment and sound decision-makingAcknowledgement Of CountryIn the spirit of reconciliation Amazon acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of country throughout Australia and their connections to land, sea and community.
