About the Role:
We are currently seeking skilled and experienced Diesel Mechanics to join our team at our Broken Hill facility as well as support our projects outside of Broken Hill.
The successful candidates will play a vital role in ensuring the ongoing safety, efficiency and productivity of work throughout this period.
You will be responsible for;
Servicing, inspecting, and repairing a range of Truck,



Trailers & Plant MachineryDiagnosing faults and performing servicing and repairs on a range of diesel-powered plant and equipmentAttending to breakdowns and repairs in the field using a well-equipped field service vehicleProviding guidance and support to other team members as necessaryMaintaining a clean and safe work environmentDiagnose faults in hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical systemsRespond to field breakdowns and emergency call-outs as neededWork with the maintenance team to plan jobs and order partsEnsure all repairs meet compliance, safety, and OEM standards

The ideal candidate will hold:
Possess trade qualifications relevant to heavy commercial vehicles or mobile plant3-5 years experience in road transport, civil construction or mining environmentMust be an Australian Citizen or have a permanent residency visaCurrent 'C' class Drivers Licence ('HR' licence and driving experience is desirable)
It is desirable that you possess;
Experience across a broad range of machinery and equipmentA variety of rosters (all day shift) including;Monday to Friday7 on, 7 off14 on, 7 off14 on, 14 offDIDO / FIFO available for suitable applicants
