Proview Scaffolding Services is seeking a dedicated and experienced Scaffolding Safety Coordinator to join our team at our Milperra, NSW location.
This is a full time position that plays a critical role in ensuring the health, safety and environmental compliance across all our scaffolding operations.
As Scaffolding Safety Coordinator, you will be responsible for developing, implementing and maintaining safety standards that protect our workforce and clients.
This position is essential to our commitment to delivering safe, compliant scaffolding solutions and represents a key part of our Health, Safety and Environment strategy.Key responsibilitiesDeveloping and implementing comprehensive safety policies, procedures and protocols specific to scaffolding operationsConducting regular safety audits, inspections and risk assessments across all active scaffolding sitesInvestigating safety incidents and near-miss events, documenting findings and recommending corrective actionsProviding safety induction and training programmes to all team members and subcontractorsLiaising with regulatory bodies and ensuring compliance with Work Health and Safety legislation and Australian standardsMaintaining detailed safety records, incident reports and compliance documentationMonitoring and reviewing safety performance metrics and KPIs across the businessCoordinating safety equipment provision,
maintenance and replacement programmesSupporting site supervisors and team leaders in implementing daily safety practicesPreparing safety reports for management and clients as requiredWhat we're looking forRecognised qualifications in Work Health and Safety or equivalent, such as a Diploma in Work Health and Safety or relevant certificationA minimum of 3 years' experience in a safety coordination or safety management role, preferably within the construction or scaffolding industryStrong knowledge of Australian Work Health and Safety legislation, standards and regulations relevant to scaffolding operationsDemonstrated experience in conducting risk assessments, safety audits and incident investigationsExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with all levels of the organisationProficiency in Microsoft Office applications and experience with safety management systems or incident tracking softwareCurrent or ability to obtain a White Card (Construction Induction Card)A proactive, detail-oriented approach with the ability to work both independently and as part of a teamStrong problem-solving abilities and a commitment to continuous improvementA valid driver's licence and reliability in attending multiple job sitesWhat we offerAt Proview Scaffolding Services, we are committed to creating a positive, inclusive workplace where our team can thrive.
