Project Manager – Security Fencing & Gate ProjectsWestern Sydney, NSW | Full Time$120,000 – $150,000 + Super + VehicleAbout the roleIdeal Fencing and Gates are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our team in South Windsor, NSW.
This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in overseeing and delivering projects within the construction and automation sector.
As Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of project execution, from initial planning through to completion, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
This role is integral to our operations and directly impacts our reputation and success in the marketplace.Key responsibilitiesPlan, initiate and manage all project phases from conception to completion, including scope definition, scheduling and resource allocationMonitor project progress and performance against key metrics, timelines and budgets, implementing corrective actions as necessaryCoordinate and communicate effectively with clients, stakeholders, contractors, suppliers and internal teams to ensure alignment and satisfactionManage project budgets, costs and financial reporting, ensuring expenditure remains within approved limitsIdentify, assess and mitigate project risks and issues, developing contingency plans where appropriateOversee quality control and ensure compliance with relevant building codes, regulations and safety standardsManage site operations, including scheduling, health and safety protocols, and site supervisionPrepare and maintain comprehensive project documentation, reports and recordsPrepare monthly progress claimsCompile monthly work in progress and cost to complete reports.Lead and motivate project teams, providing guidance and support to ensure optimal performanceWhat we're looking forMinimum 5 years' experience as a Project Manager within the construction industry, with demonstrated success in delivering projects of similar scope and complexityStrong knowledge of construction methodologies,



best practices and relevant Australian building codes and regulationsProven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously whilst maintaining attention to detail and meeting deadlinesExcellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise effectively with diverse stakeholders at all levelsProficiency in project management software and tools, including scheduling and budgeting applicationsSound financial acumen and experience with budget management and cost controlStrong problem‐solving capabilities and the ability to make sound decisions under pressureValid driver's licence and willingness to travel to project sites as requiredFormal qualifications in Project Management, Construction Management or a related discipline are highly desirableExperience within the automation or gate systems industry would be advantageousWhat we offerAt Ideal Fencing and Gates, we are committed to providing a supportive and professional work environment where our team members can thrive and progress.
