HOBAN Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced Patient Safety Manager for our client that isa leading global pharmaceutical company based in Mulgrave.This is a 12-month full-time contract opportunity via HOBAN Recruitment, offering a flexible hybrid working arrangement(3 days office & 2 days WFH) and an excellent opportunity for a Patient Safety / Pharmacovigilance skilled to contribute to global medicine safety initiatives and support compliance with local and international regulatory requirements.You will work closely with regional and global Patient Safety teams, playing a key role in pharmacovigilance activities including safety monitoring, risk management, regulatory reporting, and ensuring the ongoing safety of medicines.Key Responsibilities In this role, you will support a broad range of Patient Safety and Pharmacovigilance activities, including:Supporting the development and implementation of Risk Management PlansProviding safety information and contributing to benefit-risk assessmentsSupporting PV audit and inspection readiness activitiesPlanning, processing, and reporting aggregate safety reports to Health Authorities and Ethics Committees (where required)Supporting the implementation and maintenance of Pharmacovigilance AgreementsMaintaining PV awareness and training activitiesManaging the collection, review, follow-up, and submission of adverse event cases, including:Spontaneous reports: Literature cases, Solicited reports andPost-marketing safety casesEnsuring local market safety data quality and complianceCollaborating with cross-functional teams including Regulatory Affairs, Clinical, Medical, and global Patient Safety teamsAbout You To be successful in this role,



you will have:A university degree (preferably in Life Sciences) or nursing qualification2–3 years' experience within the pharmaceutical industry, healthcare, or medical environmentPrevious experience in Pharmacovigilance, Patient Safety, Drug Safety, or Medical InformationKnowledge and understanding of local and international PV regulations, including ICH and CIOMS guidelinesStrong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlinesExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to collaborate effectively with local and global stakeholdersFull working rights in AustraliaWhy Join This Opportunity?
