This is a unique opportunity to lead a high-profile family violence portfolio across Melbourne's northern region, including responsibility for DPV Health's Adults Using Family Violence (AUFV) services within The Orange Door across both the North East Melbourne Area (NEMA) and Hume Merri-bek Area (HMA), together with management oversight of our Men's Behaviour Change Program (MBCP).
Reporting directly to the General Manager, Mental Health, Family Violence & Outreach, you will lead teams operating in complex, integrated service environments and play a significant role in strengthening responses to family violence across the region.About the RoleThis is a senior leadership position responsible for the strategic, operational and people leadership of a diverse and growing family violence portfolio.You will lead programs focused on working with adults using family violence, supporting accountability,



behaviour change and integrated risk management responses that improve safety outcomes for victim survivors, children and families.Working in highly collaborative and matrix-managed environments, you will partner closely with:Family Safety VictoriaThe Orange Door leadership teamsHome Agency Managers and Hub ManagersSpecialist family violence servicesCommunity health, mental health and wellbeing providersGovernment departments and sector stakeholdersInternal DPV Health leaders and multidisciplinary teamsThe role requires a skilled and adaptable leader who can successfully balance people leadership, operational management, performance accountability and stakeholder engagement.You will have responsibility for:Leadership of Adults Using Family Violence services across NEMA and HMA Orange Door locationsManagement oversight of the DPV Health Men's Behaviour Change ProgramWorkforce leadership, supervision and cultureService performance, KPIs and contractual requirementsBudget and resource managementQuality, risk and clinical governancePartnership development and stakeholder engagementService improvement, innovation and future growth opportunitiesRepresentation of DPV Health across family violence and Orange Door forumsAbout YouYou are an experienced family violence leader who thrives in complex environments and builds strong, authentic relationships across teams, organisations and systems.You will bring:Significant leadership experience within family violence, The Orange Door, men's behaviour change, perpetrator interventions or related human service settingsDemonstrated success leading high-performing teams and achieving service outcomesStrong operational management capability including workforce planning, budgeting,



contract management and service performanceExperience managing KPIs, funding requirements and reporting obligationsHighly developed stakeholder engagement, negotiation and partnership management skillsExperience working successfully within integrated and matrix-managed service environmentsStrong understanding of MARAM, Information Sharing Schemes and Family Safety Victoria practice expectationsExceptional communication and influencing skillsA commitment to trauma-informed, culturally safe and inclusive practiceMost importantly, you are a collaborative and people-focused leader who can navigate complexity, support staff and contribute to better outcomes for families and communities.Why Join DPV Health?
