As our Financial Accountant, you will be responsible for:Preparing monthly management accounts and financial reportsManaging balance sheet reconciliations and month-end processesAnalysing financial performance and identifying trends and opportunitiesSupporting budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow reportingAssisting with BAS, payroll tax, audits, and statutory reportingSupporting childcare-specific funding processes, including CCS and Start Strong fundingProviding financial insights to Centre Managers and operational stakeholdersContributing to business improvement initiatives, acquisitions, and strategic projectsSupporting finance system enhancements and process improvementsAbout YouTo be successful in this role, you will have:Minimum 3 years' experience in an Accounting or Finance rolePrevious childcare industry experience (desirable)Understanding of Child Care Subsidy (CCS) and Start Strong fundingExperience with management reporting, reconciliations, and month-end close (desirable)Advanced Microsoft Excel skillsExcellent analytical and problem-solving abilitiesStrong stakeholder engagement and communication skillsA proactive and hands-on approach to your workDegree qualifications in Accounting, Finance,
