Construction Lawyer - Sydney - 3+ Month contractRole OverviewElevate has partnered with one of Australia's leading real-estate groups to onboard an experienced Construction Lawyer for a contract opportunity within a high-performing in-house legal team in Sydney.
This role offers a hybrid working environment and the opportunity to collaborate with experienced legal professionals on high-profile matters, supporting a range of major construction and infrastructure projects.Key ResponsibilitiesAdvise on a range of construction and infrastructure projects and related legal mattersDraft, review and negotiate construction contracts and project documentationProvide commercially focused legal advice on project delivery, risk allocation, and contractual issuesSupport project teams and business stakeholders throughout the project lifecycleAssist with the identification and management of legal and commercial risksLiaise with internal stakeholders and external advisors where requiredRequired Experience & Qualifications6+ years PQE preferred with strong front-end construction law experience gained in private practice and/or an in-house environmentDemonstrated experience advising on construction contracts and major projectsExcellent drafting, negotiation, and contract management skillsAbility to work independently and operate effectively within a fast-paced environmentPrevious in-house experience will be highly regardedAbility to commence at short notice is preferredWhy Apply?
