It's an chance to shape the future of our NSW business by executing strategy, developing people, improving performance and building a high-performing operation.Reporting to the Head of Operations NSW, you'll be a visible leader on the ground—supporting the team, driving accountability, solving problems and ensuring our strategic priorities are translated into operational success.

team events and End of Year celebrationsAbout the roleAs our Operations Execution Manager, you'll be responsible for executing the business strategy by leading day-to-day operations and delivering strong operational performance.Working closely with leaders across the business, you'll establish clear performance expectations, set and manage KPIs, drive accountability and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
You'll identify opportunities to improve productivity, solve operational challenges and ensure the business is well positioned to achieve both its strategic objectives and daily operational goals.Key responsibilitiesExecute the operational strategy to achieve business objectivesLead, coach and develop leaders and operational teamsEstablish, monitor and manage KPIs while driving accountability across the businessChampion a solid safety-first culture across all operationsIdentify operational challenges and implement practical, sustainable solutionsDrive continuous improvement initiatives that improve productivity, quality and efficiencyWork collaboratively with internal stakeholders to deliver strategic and operational outcomesBuild a high-performing,
engaged and accountable teamSupport business growth through strong operational leadershipAbout youYou'll be an experienced operational leader who enjoys being close to the action, building strong teams and creating lasting improvements.You'll bring:A demonstrated commitment to workplace health and safetyExperience working in heavy industries such as manufacturing, heavy fabrication, engineering, crane building or similar industrial environments (steel manufacturing or heavy fabrication experience is highly regarded but not essential)Proven leadership and coaching experience, with the ability to set clear expectations, establish accountability and follow through to achieve resultsExperience leading teams through change, growth and continuous improvementStrong experience setting and managing KPIs to improve operational performanceExcellent problem-solving and decision-making skillsThe ability to influence, engage and build strong relationships across all levels of the businessA proactive mindset with the drive to identify opportunities and deliver resultsWhy Steel Builders Group?
