Job DescriptionAs key members of the mining team, you'll be responsible for the safe and efficient installation, maintenance, and repair of essential underground services - keeping operations running smoothly and safely.Installing and maintaining services such as air, water, dewatering, ventilation, and power cablingAssisting with underground infrastructure moves, including pump setups and ventilation systemsConducting inspections and performing basic troubleshooting of service equipmentSupporting jumbo and development crews as neededMaintaining high standards of housekeeping and safety in all working areasAbout the EmployerThe CSA Mine is located 11 kilometres north-west of Cobar, central western New South Wales.
At 1.9 kilometres deep, it is one of Australia's deepest underground mines and is Australia's highest-grade copper mine.Harmony is the largest gold producer by volume in South Africa and is a significant operator of gold tailings retreatment facilities.
CSA Mine has recently joined Harmony Australasia, marking the beginning of an exciting recent chapter.




The acquisition underpins Harmony's strategy to expand its Australasian footprint and establish a strong, diversified copper portfolio, complemented by the Eva Copper Mine Project in Queensland, currently under construction, and set to become the state's largest open-pit copper mine upon commissioning.
In Papua New Guinea, Harmony owns and operates the Hidden Valley mine and owns 50% of the Tier 1 Wafi-Golpu copper-gold project.
