This role is for an experienced Motor Assessor or someone with trade qualifications in panel beating or spray painting who has progressed off the tools into a workshop manager, estimating or coordination role within the smash repair industry and is now ready to expand their career.With deep repair knowledge and industry experience, you'll take the next step into a role where you sign off on repairs, helping customers get back on the road when life hasn't gone to plan.You'll inspect vehicles, scope the damage, review quotes and make the call on what's fair and reasonable.
Some days you'll be out on the road assessing vehicles.
Other times you'll be back home reviewing estimates, writing reports and progressing claims.But compared to life in the workshop, it's a different pace and easier on the body long term.What you'll be doingFull-time hybrid role with office located in SilverwaterInspect damaged vehicles and validate claimsScope repairs and review repairer estimatesIdentify discrepancies or potential fraud indicatorsApply policy and assess liability considerationsManage customer expectations professionallyManage your diary and turnaround timesWork closely with service providers to ensure quality repairsMaintain thorough documentation and compliance standardsWhat you'll haveExperience in the smash repair industry beyond the tools - e.g. estimating, workshop management, coordination or assessingStrong knowledge of repair methods,
