Location: Bacchus Marsh and Melton (Urgent Care)Employment Type: Ongoing, Part-TimeSalary: Specialist Year 1 to Year 8 + Superannuation + Salary PackagingAbout the role:The purpose of the position is to provide medical services at the Bacchus Marsh and/or Melton Health Urgent Care Centres as rostered.
The Senior Medical Officer (CMO) - Urgent Care, will provide high quality clinical care to patients attending the Urgent Care Centres of Western Health.Key responsibilities:Ensure quality patient care via clinical assessment, investigations ordering and interpretation, and development of management plansFollow department guidelines regarding models of care and clinical pathwaysRole model the Western Health values and behaviours when carrying out duties and in dealing with staff patients, consumers and colleaguesAbout you:Current medical registration with AHPRA as Specialist (RACGP, ACRRM, FACEM)Working with children's checkMinimum of five (5) years' post-graduate experienceMinimum of two (2) years' experience within an Australian Hospital SystemAbout Western HealthWestern Health is one of the largest healthcare providers in Victoria, caring for a vibrant, diverse and rapidly growing community of one million people in Melbourne's western suburbs.With more than 13,000 staff, Western Health delivers 800,000+ occasions of care every year, providing high-quality, person-centred care across every life stage.We provide a combination of hospital, community-based, at-home and in-reach servicesto aged, adult and paediatric patients and newborn babies.
