You will have the autonomy to create opportunities, leverage your industry connections and help shape the future sales direction of the business.The OpportunityYou will be responsible for identifying and securing new business opportunities across Melbourne, developing strategic customer relationships and growing market share within the construction and civil sectors.With strong operational support behind you, you will have the opportunity to focus on growth, customer development and building a solid pipeline of future opportunities.Key ResponsibilitiesIdentify and secure new business opportunities across the construction, civil and infrastructure sectors.Develop and maintain strong relationships with builders, civil contractors, developers,



councils and key industry stakeholders.Utilise existing industry networks to generate new opportunities.Grow existing customer relationships while actively pursuing new accounts.Identify upcoming projects and market opportunities.Conduct customer visits across Melbourne to understand requirements and provide tailored equipment hire solutions.Prepare quotes, negotiate agreements and manage the sales process.Work closely with operations and internal teams to ensure excellent customer outcomes.Maintain accurate CRM records and manage sales activity.Contribute to the development of future sales strategies and team growth.About YouYou will be an experienced Business Development Manager, Account Manager or Sales Professional with a strong background in equipment hire, construction or civil industries.To be successful, you will have:Previous experience within equipment hire (essential).
