We have an prospect for an experienced Maintenance Fitter based at our Pakenham site on night shift (non-rotating), to ensure our production and manufacturing processes are safely and effectively maintained to achieve production outcomes.

What you offer:
Experience in installations, repairs and maintenance of industrial manufacturing equipment, preferably primary food processing industry
Experience in fault finding on hydraulic,



pneumatic and complex mechanical systems
Experience in breakdown as well and preventive maintenance
Sound interpersonal skills with the ability to develop relationships, communicate and collaborate effectively with key stakeholders
Strong attention to detail, information processing and problem solving skills required along with the ability to multitask
Ability to identify and introduce improvements in maintenance practices and plant performance
Routine maintenance functions for the manufacturing facility
Machine fault finding to ensure challenging production targets are met and equipment optimization
Computer literate & ability to navigate your way around our preventative maintenance program, MEX
Working knowledge of WHS principles
Production maintenance, fabrication, repair and close out of MEX requests will be a focus of this position.
Minimum Certificate III in a mechanical trade qualification
Demonstrated experience in a food or pharma manufacturer preferred
