Medical Receptionist (Part time)

We are seeking an experienced, friendly and qualified Medical Receptionist to join our busy and patient-focused medical practice in Oxley.

This is a part time position offering 10–20 hours per week , including alternate Sundays . If you thrive in a quick-paced setting and enjoy providing exceptional patient care, we'd love to hear from you.

About the Role

As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play an important role in creating a welcoming experience while ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of our practice.

Key Responsibilities
Greeting patients with a friendly and qualified manner
Managing appointments and telephone enquiries
Processing patient billing, Medicare claims and EFTPOS transactions
Maintaining accurate patient records
Liaising with doctors, nurses and allied health professionals
General reception and administrative duties
Supporting the team to ensure the efficient running of the practice

About You





To be successful in this role, you will have:
Previous experience as a Medical Receptionist (essential)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong organisational and multitasking abilities
High attention to detail and accuracy
A caring, professional and patient-focused approach
The ability to work efficiently in a busy medical practice
Flexibility to work alternate Sundays

Experience with Best Practice software will be highly regarded but is not essential.
