We're partnering with a well-established, privately owned transport logistics business in Melbourne's western suburbs to recruit an experienced Financial Controller.
Reporting directly to the CEO, this is a hands‐on role leading the finance function and supporting the business's day‐to‐day financial operations.You'll lead a small finance team and take ownership of financial reporting, cash flow, payroll oversight, taxation compliance, month‐end processes and financial controls across multiple entities.We're looking for someone who has:CPA or CA qualificationProven experience as a Financial Controller or Finance ManagerExperience leading a small finance teamStrong multi-entity accounting experienceHands‐on knowledge of payroll, BAS, IAS and statutory complianceExcellent cash flow management and financial reporting skillsExperience in transport logistics or field services business is essentialThis is an excellent chance to join a stable, growing organisation where you'll have genuine ownership of the finance function and work closely with the CEO.If you're a hands‐on finance professional who enjoys being close to the business and making an impact, we'd love to hear from you.
