Hope Harbour is seeking compassionate and experienced Mental Health Support Workers to join our team across Melbourne's northern suburbs through to the CBD.In this role, you will support individuals living with mental health challenges to build independence, connect with their community, and live fulfilling lives.We offer a mix of Community Access and Supported Independent Living (SIL) shifts, providing flexibility for those who enjoy both in-home support and getting out into the community.Key Responsibilities:Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and household tasksFacilitate social and recreational activities to promote wellbeing and community engagementProvide emotional support and build positive, trusting relationshipsAdvocate for clients' rights,



ensuring their needs are met with empathy and respectCollaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver person-centred support plansMaintain accurate documentation and client recordsFollow all relevant health, safety, and quality standardsAbout You:Experience in mental health and/or disability support workExperience with Community Access and/or SILWarm, compassionate, and non-judgmental approachStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work both independently and as part of a teamAdaptable and responsive to client needsRequirements:Certificate III or IV in Individual Support (Disability) or equivalentValid driver's licence and reliable vehicle
